I noticed the COMMUNITY CAFE open at BRICKWORKS 9am to 2.30pm last Friday, last real day of the snow, it was suggested by people in Ilex House and Holly Park so let’s all make the most of it. I guess it just means there’s coffee and tea in the hatch near the front tables in the reception area but it’s a good thing, and they put a notice outside the front door near the pavement advertising it. Am going to check today to see if it’s open Monday to Friday regularly.

This is a very good idea. Hope prices are reasonable as this would bring more of the community in.

Seems to be about £1.70 for the average coffee, which is a lot for locals on benefits, it dosn’t taste great either..oh well, something wet and warm while you sit there with your wi fi I guess. Community coffee morning date yet to be confirmed
